Terms of use
These terms apply to Sen at sen.krong.academy. They sit beside the Krong Academy Terms & Conditions at krong.academy, which cover the course, your purchase, your refund and the Human Audit. If the two conflict about Sen, these terms win for Sen.
1. What Sen is
Sen is a planning tool made by Krong Academy. It holds a schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders and responsibilities in one connected set of figures. It exports them as a plan document, a board deck, a workbook and task files for tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, monday.com and Jira.
Sen is optional. The course does not require it, and the Human Audit marks your plan, not the tool you built it in. Sen was called Project Command Center before 17 October 2026.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or over. You sign in with an email address through our sign-in provider, Clerk. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. One account is for one person.
3. What is free and what is for students
- Free for everyone with an account. Building and exploring projects, the Caldera Freight worked example, one watermarked one-page summary, and a .json backup of your project. The backup is always free.
- For enrolled students. The full exports: plan document, board deck, workbook and task files. They are available during your 12-month access window under the Krong Academy Terms & Conditions.
- The watermark. We will not sell removal of the watermark on the free summary.
- Changes. We may change what is free and what is not for future use. A change does not take back access you have already paid for during your access window.
4. Your licence to use Sen
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Sen for your own planning work, for as long as these terms allow. You must not:
- copy, resell, rent, host or share Sen, its code, its design or its Caldera Freight example, in whole or in part, other than the outputs you create from your own project;
- use Sen, or what you learn from its code or behaviour, to build a competing product, course or service;
- reverse engineer Sen, except to the extent the law allows despite this term;
- remove or work around the watermark, the export limits, the sign-in or any other control, including by editing the code that runs in your browser;
- scrape Sen, overload it, or use it to attack or test other systems;
- share your account, or use another person's account.
Sen runs in your browser, so you can see its code. Seeing it does not give you a licence to copy or reuse it. We keep all rights in Sen, and we may use technical or legal means to enforce these terms.
5. Who owns what
We own Sen, its code, its design, its words and its Caldera Freight worked example, and the names Sen, Krong and Krong Academy. You own the plan content you enter and the files you export from your own project. You may use your exports for your own work, including with your employer or clients. Exports of the Caldera Freight example are for your own learning and may not be redistributed or sold.
6. Your project data
- Sen saves your projects in your browser, on your own device (local storage). Nothing in your project is sent to our servers as part of normal use. Our sign-in provider holds your account details only.
- Clearing your browser data, using a private window, or changing browser or device can delete your projects. Export a .json backup regularly and keep it safe. We cannot recover projects for you, because we do not hold them.
- The libraries that build the Excel, PowerPoint and spreadsheet files are loaded from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr), and the typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts them when Sen opens. The files themselves are built in your browser from your own data.
- Sen has no AI of its own. The optional Ask AI feature works only if you paste your own Anthropic or OpenAI key (or the key and address of another OpenAI-format service), shows you exactly what will be sent, and sends it only after you agree, each time. Krong Academy does not receive that text or your key, and your agreement with the provider applies. AI output is a draft: you check it and you decide.
7. The Caldera Freight example and your own figures
Caldera Freight is a fictional organisation created for instruction. Its figures are illustrative. Sen calculates from what you enter. It does not check that your assumptions are right. You must verify every figure, date and name before you rely on it or put it in front of a board, a client or a regulator.
8. AI tools
The course teaches you to use AI tools through the RACF prompt method. Those tools belong to other companies. Krong Academy does not run them and does not see what you enter into them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Sen itself makes no calls to any AI service.
9. No professional advice
Sen and its outputs are planning aids. They are not legal, financial, tax or professional advice. Sen is provided as it is, without a promise that it is error-free, always available or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
10. Third-party tools
Sen can export files that open in tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, monday.com and Jira. Those are products of other companies and trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with them and do not promise that an import will work in every version or setup. Check what came across after each import.
11. Availability and changes
We may change, pause or stop Sen, or any part of it. We will try to give notice of a major change where we reasonably can. We will give enrolled students reasonable time to export their work before anything they have paid for stops working during their access window. Services Sen depends on (hosting, sign-in, the content delivery network and Google Fonts) can fail outside our control.
12. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse Sen or put others at risk. You may stop using Sen at any time and delete your account from inside Sen (Account, then Delete account). Sections 4, 5, 7, 9, 13 and 14 survive the end of your use.
13. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data stored in your browser, or for loss that comes from relying on a figure you did not verify. For free use, our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. For paid access, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Law, changes and contact
These terms follow the same governing law and dispute process as the Krong Academy Terms & Conditions (the laws of South Africa, subject to mandatory consumer law where you live). We may update these terms. Changes are posted with a new date and version, and the version in force when you start a session applies to that use. Questions, requests to delete your account and legal notices go to hello@krong.academy.
The full Krong Academy Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy cover the course, purchases, refunds and certificates.
